Twenty-six year old Andy Sydow is quickly becoming a strongly established facet in the local Colorado music scene. He has played in support of Anders Osborne, Tab Benoit, Dick Dale, Delbert McClinton, Samantha Fish, Andy Frasco & The U.N. and Johnny Hickman (of Cracker). He has also performed at several festivals including the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Music Festival and been nominated for awards for his piano playing and songwriting by the Colorado Blues Society.
Reasons For Departure(Sydow’s fourth release) was produced by Grammy nominated Colorado Music Hall of Fame Inductee, Chris Daniels (of Chris Daniels & The Kings). His band puts on a blistering 4-piece live show that covers a mix of Americana, rock and blues.
